Aim of the experiment

The study of genome sequencing in crop plants enables the understanding of the entire DNA sequence. This provides an opportunity to understand genetic variations. It also serves the purpose of determining how site-specific changes could be done to enhance qualitative as well as quantitative traits in plants.
